• What's Included: 12 Page watercolour book, your own Gouache palette, professional-grade brushes, tape, thin tip sharpies, a large practice sheet, stickers and other appliques, up to 24 greeting cards printed of your paintings, and a full intro into gouache painting tutorial by Zoe Angus. Additionally, light bites and beverages will be provided.

• You can bring: Alcoholic beverages, food, and any other items you'd like to add - stencils, stickers for tracing, family photos, your own reference photos etc...

Gouache is an opaque watercolour paint. Where transparent watercolours allow you to see the "white" of the paper below the paint, gouache paint can be applied in solid opaque colours, which allows artists to paint in layers. This versatile medium can do more than you expect... let's explore it together! 

Whether you are starting from scratch or looking to hone your gouache painting skills, this class will provide the structure you need to learn how to gouache or explore your techniques further.

What does the workshop look like?
We will start the class off with an introduction to gouache, how it works, how to blend and mix the colours, and how to achieve the look you're going for. After that we will all work on our own individual booklets and create 12 different pieces. You will be able to free paint, or Zoe will instruct different pieces and be there to help support your vision - which will be photographed professionally and turned into your very own greeting cards!

You will get to keep you original look book once to photography is done and your cards will be available for pickup within 10 days.
